Top Ten Facts about CAMRIS International

1. CAMRIS works closely with agencies such as USAID, the DoD, VA, and CDC, currently implementing approximately $130 million in global support contracts.
2. CAMRIS is the prime contractor on the new Global Health Support Initiative II (GHSI-II), a $79 million project (2010-2013) providing up to 90 senior program and technical experts to support USAID’s global health activities worldwide.
3. CAMRIS has completed more than 200 initiatives in more than 50 countries under the USAID Global Health Technical Assistance Project (GH Tech).
4. CAMRIS has completed more than 40 initiatives in more than 12 countries under the USAID Monitoring and Evaluation to Assess and Use Results (MEASURE) Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS).
5. CAMRIS is implementing a region-wide early warning sentinel disease surveillance system for South America supporting the DoD/Navy NMRCD/Peru and its tropical medicine research surveillance program.
6. CAMRIS is developing adaptive technologies to manage the worldwide blood management program for DoD.
7. CAMRIS successfully completed over 1,600 assignments in nearly 80 countries since 1955.
8. CAMRIS has grown to a peak of 200 staff, complemented by highly experienced consultants and collaborating partners and universities, since 2003.
