News Release - May 8, 2009 [Bethesda, MD] CAMRIS Implements New USAID Global Health Assignments During the month of May CAMRIS received and started to implement new assignments that support USAID Missions in Botswana, Mozambique, DRC, Bolivia and Egypt, as well as new work that supports the Office of HIV/AIDS in USAID’s Global Health Bureau. This work is being carried out under USAID’s Global Health Technical Assistance (GH Tech) Project (www.GHTECHproject.com). Under this project CAMRIS has been providing the USAID Global Health Bureau, Regional Bureaus, and USAID field missions with technical assistance for planning, program development, project design, evaluation and communications support to assist the Agency in achieving its Strategic Objectives in health. CAMRIS has carried out or participated in more than 100 GH Tech assignments to date, including work in all USAID regions. Through GH Tech and other current contracts, CAMRIS is proud to continue its long tradition (since 1963) of service to USAID.
